A Mother Speaks to her Daughter

In memory of Nollie, who will never be forgotten…

Nora, or Nollie as she is known to her husband, passed away with a heart attack last October.

As she keeled over to her left with much pain to her chest and left arm, she then had no movement. Only her eyes were opened and she saw her darling husband Roy and then her eyes closed. He was there to take her to Spirit.

Nollie is a lady small in stature, but made of strong stuff and backbone, which was given to her by her mother. This enabled her to survive and cope with life.

She was a lady who gave to everybody and she was a healer in her own right and frequented a spiritualist church under Jessie Nasson in Dulwich many years ago.

Together with her darling husband, they were firm friends with this marvellous medium Jessie and often worked at the church.

Nollie and Roy were childhood sweethearts. They were never separated. She was the more dominant in that what she said went and she was rarely wrong.

She was a lady who loved to crochet, especially with bright colours.

Everything was always clean and tidy and everything was in its place. She could find them even when blindfolded.

Nollie came through with a small dark-haired dog – the family pet.

She was the backbone to her family and is of course sorely missed.

She told her daughter, “We (Mum and Dad) are always with you giving you our love and support. A flickering of the left wall light on the left side of the chimney breast shows that we are always around.”
